NBA教父史騰 獲選名人堂

前熱火球星莫寧和曾助湖人拿下2001-02球季總冠軍的退役好手李奇蒙、前NBA執行長史騰，及NCAA男籃冠軍教頭理查森、威廉斯、1970年代曾完成NCAA女籃3連后的伊馬庫拉塔學院女籃隊等入選籃球名人堂。

莫寧1992年從夏洛特黃蜂展開NBA生涯，1995年轉戰熱火，兩度獲選年度最佳防守球員，曾因罹患局部性腎絲球硬化症揮別球場，換腎後復出再戰NBA，2005-06球季助熱火奪冠後，於2009年1月光榮退休，他說：「入選名人堂我非常榮幸、感激，就算生命在今天畫下句點，我也已過了童話般的一生。」今年名人堂入堂儀式將在8月9日於麻州春田市舉行。
