洛杉磯湖人隊作客亞特蘭大，老鷹隊在第三節靠著射手Kyle Korver連續2顆三分球逆轉戰局，終場就以114:100擊倒湖人隊。
湖人隊明星球員Kobe Bryant全場攻下8分，14投4中，三分線5投皆墨，發生5次失誤，表現不甚理想。
Kobe這場出賽32分鐘以上，大大的超過原本限制的上場時間，但是湖人隊依舊無法贏球。
上半場湖人隊都保持領先，Pau Gasol與Jordan Hill內線有效的發揮，加上Kobe上籃與後仰跳投都奏效，首節以28:20領先。
老鷹隊上半場命中率的確不理想，Jeff Teague還在上半場終了前對裁判碎念，引發了技術犯規。
不過，Al Horford下半場硬起來，空中接力灌籃與跳投都得手，加上Kyle Korver連續94場比賽都有三分球演出，Paul Millsap單節攻下10分，老鷹隊第三節打完反超前為82:73領先9分之多。
老鷹隊第四節外線手感發威，Mike Scott、Jeff Teague、Louis Williams皆有三分演出，一度把比分拉開15分的差距。
Xavier Henry不斷搶攻籃下也於事無補，加上湖人連籃板球都無法有效掌握，終場還是吞下近5場的第4敗。
這也是「小飛俠」Kobe回歸球場的第5場比賽，可惜湖人隊還是無法找到贏球法則。
Nick Young拿下湖人隊全場最多的23分，Jordan Hill21分，Pau Gasol16分。
Al Horford拿下19分，Paul Millsap18分，Kyle Korver射下11分，Jeff Teague也有17分演出，先發5人得分都是2位數。
